About us

In July 2017 the Benton Convention Center completed a $20M reinvention of all space. Along with adding 5K square feet of natural lit pre-function space the center also added all-purpose carpet to the lower level Piedmont Halls. The facility boasts a contemporary design with spaces that can be customized to suit your needs--expansive exhibit halls or intimate conference rooms. In addition the center has over 15 pieces of artwork from North Carolina artists. The Benton Center is sure to make a lasting impression on you and your guests. Our facility seats up to 3,000 people theater-style, or accommodates 2,000 for banquets. Spacious, attractive lobby areas are sure to make a great impression during pre-event registration or receptions. Up to 18 meeting rooms are ideal for breakout sessions--allowing our staff to arrange the exact environment you need. Connected to the convention center via climate controlled underground tunnel is the full-service 146 suite Embassy Suites Hotel and the 315 room Marriott Hotel which is underway with a $20M reinvention of all guest rooms and public space. The new Marriott will be unveiled in Summer 2018.
